Tree surgery is a skilled and potentially dangerous occupation. Choosing a contractor should never come down to price alone — the qualifications and experience of the individuals who will actually carry out the work matter enormously, both for the quality of the result and for the safety of everyone on site.
Our Team & Qualifications
What we require of our team
- NPTC (LANTRA Awards) chainsaw certificates — required for all operatives using chainsaws
- Additional NPTC certificates for specific machinery and operations (aerial work, stump grinding, chipper operation)
- Ongoing CPD in line with Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor requirements
- Health and safety training appropriate to the scope of work carried out
More than seventy years in the trade is not something that happens by accident. It reflects generations of skilled arborists, a long-term commitment to training and qualifications, and a reputation built on doing the work properly, safely, professionally, and to the standard our clients expect.
Our standards for team conduct
As a CHAS Elite accredited contractor, we have been assessed not only on our health and safety systems but also on our approach to training, supervision, modern slavery awareness, corporate social responsibility and information security.
