About us

Based in Leicester, George Walker (Tree Care) Ltd is an established tree surgery business that undertakes all manner of tree work across Leicestershire and the surrounding counties. With an experienced team of highly qualified and motivated personnel, we aim to deliver a professional service to all of our clients, whether you are a commercial customer, a domestic customer or a local authority. Our standards and procedures are independantly verified on a regular basis, which reinforces our commitment to best practice. Among others, we are long standing ARB Approved Contractors accredited by the Arboricultural Association.

History

George Walker (Tree Care) Ltd was incorporated as a Limited Company in 1992. It brought together the forestry arm of George Walker Ltd, a Syston based sawmill and timber merchant, with George Walker & Sons, a successful tree surgery business that had been trading from their base in Glenfield since 1953. The company has been trading for over 25 years, but we still draw on the experience of personnel who worked for both companies before the aquisition and merger.
